This 4 Days Semuliki Wildlife Safari will take you to Semuliki National Park, which is dominated by the easternmost extension of the great Ituri Forest of the Congo Basin. It is a rewarding destination with incredible wildlife including chimpanzees and the iconic Sempaya hot springs.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN UGANDA
Your driver/guide will pick you up from Entebbe airport and transfer you to ViaVia Guest house, only a 10-minute drive from the airport. This is where your Mahanda Safaris driver/ guide will find you tomorrow morning for the start of your tour after a good breakfast.
Depending on the time of your arrival, you might have time to explore Entebbe town. There are many options in Entebbe and a tour can easily be organized through the reception of ViaVia Guesthouse. For example, you could visit the Botanical gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC). Please note that all activities and transportation for today are at your own cost.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO FORT PORTAL
Today you will leave Entebbe (central) for Western Uganda and have a great experience of the beautiful countryside landscape as you head west. You will have a stopover for lunch and arrive in Fort Portal in the early afternoon. After your check-in at the Rweteera Safari lodge, you will have a rest from the long drive.
Check-in at the lodge and have a rest from the long day drive. You might even be able to see some primates since you will be next to Kibale national park, home of chimpanzees.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO SEMPAYA HOT SPRING
Today, you will wake up early in the morning, and after your breakfast, head up to Semuliki National Park, located in Bundibugyo district. The Park is strategically located on western Albertine rift valley next to the western boarder of Uganda and Congo.
The highlight for the day is a visit to the Sempaya hot springs. The natural springs have a fountain shooting up from an 8m-wide opening at a hot temperature and is the largest of such a kind in the country.
In the afternoon, you can look forward to a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Swamp where you will have a chance to view lots of wildlife such as red-tailed monkeys.
