Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi 

Our Mahanda Africa safaris representative will pick you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi where you will have a rest for the night.

Day 2:  Transfer to Amboseli by road

Our guide will pick you from your Nairobi hotel at 7a.m and immediately depart for Amboseli. You will arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch. Check in at the lodge/camp and later enjoy lunch then relax before your afternoon game drive for 2 hours. Alternatively, relax by the camp’s pool.

Day 3: Full day game drive in Amboseli

This day have a pre-breakfast; 6:30a.m to 9a.m. You have an option of bush breakfast and return later to the camp. Another game drive will be in the afternoon for 2 hours. The rest of the time is spent in lodge’s facilities

Optional Activities; Balloon ride and Cultural tour

Highlights

Day 4: Transfer to Tsavo West

After breakfast, you will depart for Tsavo West to arrive by mid-morning. Immediately have a game drive then head to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will visit Mzima springs where you may view the crocodiles and hippos swimming under water with a choice of picnic or buffet lunch. After lunch you will be driven to the remains of “shetani” lava flows. As you wind down the evening enjoy the view of Chyulu Hills from the lodge.

Day 5: Transfer to Tsavo East

After your breakfast you will depart for Tsavo East and arrive before lunch at the lodge. Have lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive.

Day 6: Transfer to Diani/Malindi/Mombasa

Have another pre-breakfast then return to the lodge for breakfast. Thereafter, depart for coast with a final game drive as you leave the park. You will arrive by mid-morning and be dropped at your hotel.
